Crawler Crane (42097) with motorized legs

 

This modification of 42097 uses a PF M-motor to fully motorize the deployment, lowering & extension of the 4 legs, effectively replacing 11 manually-operated knobs. The operation of legs is protected by clutch-gears.

One switch allows to chose between deploying/retracting the legs, and one push-pull knob allow to select control of the outer or inner legs. Since the legs are stowed in rows, all 4 legs cannot be operated simultaneously because the inner & outer legs would interlock (although I have a feeling that it's still possible somehow, but I've spent enough time on that MOC it turned out to be possible: see my second version).
