Features:
  • deploy/retract boom
  • raise/lower boom
  • rotate body
  • 4-piston engine driven by the wheels
  • cabin roof is openable, but as Held der Steine would say, that's not a feature, it's just the roof not being attached :)

This alternate model uses over 90% of the parts.

A lot of effort has been put into making the base structure strong enough to withstand the heavy weight and pull caused by the arm & boom, and protect the turntable against heavy torsion. Still, when the body is straight (unrotated), the sheer weight will slightly pull the turntable away from its driving gear, causing it to skip.
